Cast on the back of your sweater using the Cabled Cast-On, and work straight in pattern until the underarm shaping. After you've finished a sleeve, fill out the worksheet and DIY upper back shaping!

Kari Capone
Kari is a proud mama of her son, an FIT student; a lifelong cross-stitcher, crocheter, and crafter; and longtime resident of Maplewood, NJ. She learned to knit in 2001, began designing sweaters in 2003, and has taught hundreds of children and adults to knit.Her favorite pastimes include drinking coffee at The Able Baker; singing karaoke at Libretti's; and learning new languages (currently, Italian!)
