About the Teacher

Kari Capone

Kari is a proud mama of her son Andrew, an FIT graduate; a lifelong cross-stitcher, crocheter, and crafter; and a relatively new spinner and weaver. She learned to knit in 2001, began designing sweaters in 2003, and has taught hundreds of children and adults to knit.Her favorite pastimes include drinking coffee at The Able Baker and singing karaoke at Libretti's. She married her awesome husband in 2023 and they live in South Orange, NJ with Bo the dog and Sid the cat.
